The advantage of getting a used ABS Pump from a scrap car vs a repair ABS.
1) It is confirmed working. I normally have 1 extra spare of the same part number.
2) Original Equipment from Manufacturer.
3) Never been Repair or Recon.

Repair or Recon ABS pump
1) They only are able to repair the fault that appears on diagnostic. (There may be other faults)
2) Depending on where the repair parts are being source, it may not last.
3) During the process, have any other fault is being introduced during the repair process.

I will recommend you go to my workshop for repair works. It is because I understand my workshop management and repair program. If there is any fault, they will not proceed and they have the abilities to check before installation. So far, I have none that came back after repairs, and no intermittent faults detected. I can source for parts that are of other makes, but please let me know what the part number on the ABS pump is. I cannot work on Car Plate Number or Chassis number as I am not Workshop.
